Robin H. Gordon, CPA

Robin H. Gordon was born and raised in Philadelphia where she graduated from Overbrook High in 1972.  She attended Cheyney University where she graduated cum laude with a BS degree in Business Administration and a concentration in accounting in 1976. She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Pennsylvania and currently resides in Mt. Laurel, NJ.  Ms. Gordon has over 27 years accounting, finance and audit experience.

In early 2005, Ms. Gordon founded RH Gordon & Associates, LLC under the State of Pennsylvania.  Located at 1525 Locust St. 14th Floor, Philadelphia, PA  19102,  the company’s mission is to provide Accounting/Bookkeeping and Finance, Tax and Operational Consulting Services primarily to small to mid size companies.

Prior to establishing her new business, Ms. Gordon was a Director with the accounting firm of Deloitte and Touche, LLP (“D&T”) where she co-headed the East Coast Capital Markets Group, made up of over 300 financial professionals. During her 8 year tenure with D&T, she specialized in the accounting, financial advisory and operational consulting related to Securitizations and other Structured Finance transactions. Prior to joining Deloitte, Ms. Gordon held senior level accounting and finance positions at Chase Manhattan Bank, Advanta Corp., CIT, The Money Store and BPUM Impact Corp, a non-profit, where she managed various accounting and finance functions; and spent several years as an auditor for the firm of Ernst & Young at the beginning of her career. Through her vast experience, she has gained extensive knowledge and expertise in all areas of accounting, finance and operations, and the discipline required to run a fiscally and operationally sound organization.

She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), National Association of Black Accountants (NABA), the African American Chamber of Commerce and the Women’s Regional Business Council.
